• For Peds, you have to overhead page the arrest. 

  1. Activate by calling x8888 and saying "I would like to activate a PEDIATRIC CARDIAC ARREST in the Emergency Department."

• Write down the time that it was announced overhead and Chart in Special Charting. 

• Call on-call chaplain by dialing the operator (0)

• Take family to Quiet Room

That's it. No other documentation is needed for Pediatric Arrests.

Note* Pediatric Arrests are the only type of arrest you page overhead. No Adult arrests should be announced overhead.
